    Hi,
I’m seeking for advice and opinion.
I have two SPA303 IP phone’s that are connected over local LAN (via same switch), each with static IP address i.e. 192.168.1.41 and 192.168.1.42 . I need to simply dial the other utilizing its IP address with no other programming but I can’t dial the other using their static IP addresses which are set in the address book and continue getting mistake/line occupied tone. Changed dial plan multiple times to enable this, although I have set “Allow IP dialing” but still no fortuity which makes me wonder if I require PBX or any other hardware.
Can anyone suggest me please if I should be able to direct dial two IP phones without using other hardware or software running?
