    Hello,

I wanted to see if anyone had experience running voice and data over a single CAT6 run. We have approximately 120 stations. The phones we are considering are Yealink T42G. Switches are V1910. We will be using 3CX Pro as our PBX. Our current infrastructure is using an Avaya Definity and each station has two CAT5e runs, one for data and one for phone.

Since this is new I wanted to make sure I am putting into place infrastructure that works — based on peoples experience in the real world. I understand that two separate runs is better but I am looking at avoiding doubling the cost of our cable installation.

Does anyone run voice and data over a single CAT6 run? How many (approx) users are on the network? How many simultaneous calls?

    Thank you
